Washington prepares for potential economic impact following super-committee failure

With the failure of the congressional super committee, the Washington area is preparing for potentially dramatic budget cuts to hammer regional businesses as diverse as defense contracting to hospitality, air travel, and real estate. The Greater Washington Board of Trade is sponsoring a forum next week on the implications of federal debt reduction for the region.
